2. Services Provided Professional CV Zone offers CV writing, cover letters, LinkedIn optimisation, and related services. We strive for high-quality outputs but do not guarantee specific outcomes such as job placements.

3. User Responsibilities You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information for CV creation.

• Use our services for lawful purposes.

• Refrain from sharing or reselling our work without permission.

4. Payments

• Full payment is required upfront before services commence.

• Payments are processed securely through third-party payment providers.

• Refunds are issued at our discretion, subject to service completion.

5. Intellectual Property All content we create (e.g., CVs, cover letters) remains our intellectual property until full payment is received. You may use the content for personal purposes only.

6. Limitation of Liability We are not liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

• Delays caused by factors beyond our control.

• Errors resulting from inaccurate information provided by you.

General Terms

General Terms for CV, Cover Letter, Online Job Portals, and LinkedIn Profile Services

At Professional CV Zone, we strive to provide a reliable and effective service to enhance your professional profile across various platforms. Our services include CV writing, cover letter creation, and updating LinkedIn and other online job portals.

By placing an order, you agree to provide:

1. Accurate and truthful information, including a complete history of your professional experience and all relevant qualifications.
2. A current CV in MS Word format (if available).
3. Login details for online job portals or LinkedIn accounts, where applicable.

Misrepresentation

Misrepresentation on a CV is a serious offense and is prohibited by law in South Africa. 

A CV is a factual document. We will not exaggerate skills, qualifications, or work history.

CV Writing and Draft Review Process

Upon commencing with the CV writing service, you will receive a draft document within three (3) business days (Mon – Fri) of payment. The draft document may contain questions with missing information which needs to be added. You will be able to make changes to the document or add missing information which may not have been included in your original document.

It is your responsibility to:

1. Review and provide any additional information requested.
2. Return the document with your edits for finalisation within 30 days.

Prior to finalising your service request, will we conduct a comprehensive review to ensure correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and factual accuracy. If we make an error, we will promptly correct it upon notification.

Refund Policy

If you are not fully satisfied with the service provided, you may request further rewording or reformatting within 30 days of payment to better highlight your qualifications, skills, and experience. If you remain dissatisfied after revisions, you may request a refund within the same 30-day period.

Refunds will not be processed under the following conditions:

1. Insufficient or incorrect information was provided.
2. Requests are made after the 30-day period.
3. Feedback on the draft or requests for changes were not provided within 30 days.
4. The CV was already used for job applications or securing employment.
5. Refunds are requested due to employment results beyond our control.
6. An attempt is made to claim the draft or completed CV was not used in any way.

Access to Online Job Portals and LinkedIn Profiles

For LinkedIn and online job portal services, clients are responsible for providing accurate login details. In cases where we cannot access a profile due to incorrect login information, account restrictions, or similar issues beyond our control, we will make up to three (3) attempts to gain access.

If these attempts are unsuccessful, the following will apply:

1. A service is deemed rendered once three (3) attempts have been made to access the profile.
2. Alternative Delivery: If we cannot access the online profile to update information for any reason, the client will receive an updated profile text document that they can manually upload to their account when access is restored.
3. Refund Terms: Should the service be incomplete due to inaccessible profiles, a refund will be issued, less an administrative fee of R250.00.

Please note, we do not provide technical support for account recovery, password resets, or any other account access related issues.

Refund Approval Criteria

Refunds will only be approved if:

1. We did not add value to your original CV.
2. No new sections or headings were added.
3. No questions were raised to address missing information.
4. The refund request was received within the 30-day period.
5. Correct banking details have been provided. Note: The banking details must be the same as the original banking details where payment was received from.

Administrative Fees and Data Removal

Refunds are subject to an administrative fee of R250.00, and template usage fees (R250.00 for the CV template, R150.00 for the cover letter template) may apply. Should a refund be approved for a CV, Cover Letter or online profile update, will your CV and personal information be removed from our databases, which is accessible to recruiters and HR professionals.
